2. Subordinating Conjunctions:

যে Conjunction একটি Clause-এর শুরুতে বসে অন্য Clause-এর স্থান, কাল, ধরণ, মাত্রা, ইত্যাদি বুঝানোর জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়, তাকে Subordinating Conjunction বলে।

অর্থাৎ, Subordinating Conjunctions একটি Clause অন্য Clause-এর ওপর নির্ভরশীল হলে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Examples: how, if, lest, after, although, as, because, before, even if, even though, once, since, unless, until, when, where, while ইত্যাদি।
3. Correlative Conjunctions:

পরস্পর সম্পর্কযুক্ত জোড়ায় জোড়ায় ব্যবহৃত Conjunction গুলোই Correlative Conjunctions।

অর্থাৎ, Correlative Conjunctions সবসময় জোড়ায় জোড়ায় ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং একই ধরনের Word বা Phrase যুক্ত করে।

Examples: either…or, neither…nor, not only…but also, both…and, whether…or, as…as ইত্যাদি।
