Bask (verb, intransitive) অর্থ হলো আলো ও তাপ উপভোগ করা, বিশেষত সূর্য বা কোনো উষ্ণ উৎসের আলো ও তাপ উপভোগ করা।

এই উদাহরণে একটি Perfect Participle যুক্ত Simple Sentence কে Compound Sentence এ রূপান্তর দেখানো হয়েছে। নিয়ম অনুযায়ী Perfect Participle phrase এর পরিবর্তে Past Perfect verb ব্যবহার করে এবং সাথে and বসিয়ে বাক্যকে Compound আকারে লেখা হয়।

• Simple Sentence: Having finished my homework, I played football.

• Compound Sentence: I had finished my homework and played football.

Perfect Participle যুক্ত Simple Sentence কে Compound Sentence এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:

• প্রথমে Subject বসবে।

• এরপর Simple Sentence-এর Perfect Participle-এর Past Perfect form বসবে।

• তারপর and বসবে।

• শেষে বাক্যের বাকি অংশ বসবে।

• Compound: I had forgotten him and went out.
