ব্যবহার:

• Detrimental-এর পরে সাধারণত preposition "to" বসে।

উদাহরণ বাক্য:

1. His negative attitude is detrimental to team spirit. ✅

2. Laziness is detrimental to success.

3. Excessive screen time can be detrimental to children's eyesight.

4. Pollution is highly detrimental to the environment.

“Ode to the West Wind” মূলত শরৎ ঋতুকে কেন্দ্র করে লেখা। কবি পশ্চিম বাতাসকে শরতের প্রাণশক্তি বলেছেন। শরতের বাতাস মৃত পাতাকে উড়িয়ে নিয়ে যায় এবং বীজকে মাটির নিচে লুকিয়ে রাখে। পাতার পতন মৃত্যু বা ক্ষয়ের প্রতীক, আর বীজ সংরক্ষণ নতুন জন্মের প্রতীক। তাই শরৎকে Shelley একসাথে ধ্বংস ও সংরক্ষণের ঋতু হিসেবে উপস্থাপন করেছেন।
