Paragraph Structure

• Note: Heading is not a part of a paragraph; it belongs to a letter.

• A paragraph can be divided into three main parts:

1. Beginning (Topic Sentence):

   • The first sentence of the paragraph.

   • Should be engaging and introduce the main idea.

2. Body:

   • Includes all sentences between the first and the last.

   • Develops and supports the main idea of the paragraph.

3. End (Terminator):

   • The final sentence that completes the paragraph’s thought.

   • Provides a sense of closure and emphasizes the main idea.
