"Utopia" বইটি প্রথমে ল্যাটিন ভাষায় লেখা হয়েছিল। এটি Thomas More এর লেখা একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ রাজনৈতিক ও সমাজতাত্ত্বিক গ্রন্থ, যা 1516 সালে প্রকাশিত হয়।

Utopia is a work of fiction and socio-political satire by Sir Thomas More.

- 'Utopia' রচনা করে 'Thomas Moore' বিখ্যাত হয়ে আছেন। 

- তিনি 'Utopia' লিখেছেন ল্যাটিন ভাষায়। 

- 'Utopia' গ্রিক অর্থ হচ্ছে কোথাও না।  অর্থাৎ কোথাও কোনোদিন যা ছিল না।

- এর দ্বারা একটি কাল্পনিক দ্বীপকে বোঝানো হয়।

- বইটির কাহিনী দুইটি ভাগে বিভক্ত।

-  Sir Thomas Moore এর এই লেখার উপর ভিত্তি করে পরবর্তী তে সাহিত্যে একটি নতুন genre - Utopian fiction তৈরি হয়েছে।

Thomas More কে Sir Thomas More বা Saint Thomas More ও বলা হয়।

- তিনি ১৪৭৮ সালে London এ জন্মগ্রহণ করেন।

- He was an English humanist and statesman, chancellor of England.

- তার রচিত History of King Richard III - কে ইংরেজি ইতিহাস রচনার প্রথম মাস্টারপিস হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা হয়।

Lear’s “Love Test” – King Lear, Act 1, Scene 1

• Context: Opening scene – Lear asks each daughter:
  "Which of you shall we say doth love us most?"

• Purpose: He intends to give the largest share of the kingdom to the daughter who delivers the most flattering and effusive declaration of love.

Causative Verb

সংজ্ঞা:

যখন subject নিজে কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কাজ করায়, তখন Causative Verb ব্যবহার করা হয়।

সাধারণ Causative Verbs:

• Have, Get, Help, Let, Make ইত্যাদি।

Make ব্যবহার

• Make + ব্যক্তি/বস্তু + verb-এর base form

• অর্থ: কাউকে কোনো কাজ করতে বাধ্য করা, Have বা Get-এর চেয়ে বেশি জোর/নির্দেশ প্রদান।

2. She makes her kids brush their teeth before bed.
