Paragraph Structure

• Note: Heading is not a part of a paragraph; it belongs to a letter.

• A paragraph can be divided into three main parts:

1. Beginning (Topic Sentence):

   • The first sentence of the paragraph.

   • Should be engaging and introduce the main idea.

2. Body:

   • Includes all sentences between the first and the last.

   • Develops and supports the main idea of the paragraph.

3. End (Terminator):

   • The final sentence that completes the paragraph’s thought.

   • Provides a sense of closure and emphasizes the main idea.

The Modern Period: 

• 1901 থেকে 1939 পর্যন্ত সময়কালকে ইংরেজী সাহিত্যে the Modern Age হিসেবে ধরা হয়ে থাকে।
• 1901 সালে Queen Victoria এর মৃত্যুর মধ্য দিয়ে এই যুগ এর সুচনা হয় এবং 1939 এ দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের সূচনার মধ্য দিয়ে এই যুগ এর সমাপ্তি হয়।
• Modernism is more than a literary phenomenon.
• It includes many art forms that flourished in European countries including England.

Modern period দুটি ছোট সময়কালে বিভক্ত। যেমন:

• The Edwardian period: 1901-1910. 
• The Georgian period: 1910-193.

• English Literature Periods and their sub-ages: 

1. The Old English Period (450 -1066).

2. The Middle English Period (1066 -1500).

i) The Anglo-Norman Period.

ii) The Age of Chaucer.

3. The Renaissance Period (1500 -1660),

i) Elizabethan Period (1558-1603),

ii) Jacobean Period (1603-1625),

iii) Caroline Period (1625-1649) and

iv) Commonwealth Period (1649-1660).

4. The Neoclassical Period (1660 -1785),

i) The Restoration Period (1660-1700),

ii) The Augustan Period (1700-1745) and

iii) The Age of Sensibility (1745-1785/1798).

5. The Romantic Period (1798 -1832).

6. The Victorian Period (1832 -1901),

i) The Pre-Raphaelites: (1848-1860),

ii) Aestheticism & Decadence: (1880-1901).

7. The Modern Period (1901 -1939),

• The Modern Period (1901-1939) is divided into two shorter periods.

1. The Edwardian Period (1901-1910),

2. The Georgian Period (1910-1939),

- The Modern English period was one of the most significant literary periods.

8. Present: The Post-Modern Period (1939 ).

Correct sentence:
Let you, him, and me solve the problem together.
বাংলা: চল সবাই মিলে সমস্যাটার সমাধান করি।

মূল নিয়ম:

1. Let এর পর সবসময় objective pronoun ব্যবহার করতে হবে।

   • Objective pronouns: me, him, her, us, you

   • Subjective pronouns ব্যবহার করা যায় না (I, he, she, we ❌)

2. বাক্যে একাধিক pronoun থাকলে বসানোর ক্রম:

   • সাধারণত 231 নিয়মে:

     • প্রথমে second person (you)

     • তারপর third person (him/her/them)

     • শেষে first person (me/I)

   • বিকল্প নিয়ম: 23, 21, 31

Examples:

• Let you, him, and me join the team. ✅

• Let him and me handle the task. ✅

• Subjective form হবে: he and I, কিন্তু Let-এর পরে ব্যবহার করা যাবে না। ❌

এই নিয়ম মনে রাখলে Let-এর পর pronoun-ব্যবহার সবসময় সঠিক হবে।
