বাংলা অর্থ:
আমি যদি তুমি হতাম, তাহলে পুরো বিষয়টি আরও সতর্কতার সঙ্গে পরিচালনা করতাম।

Second Conditional এর নিয়ম অনুযায়ী বাক্য গঠন:

• If + past indefinite + subject + would/could/might + verb এর base form + বাক্যের বাকি অংশ।

• If + were + বাক্যের বাকি অংশ, subject + would/could/might + verb এর base form।

অর্থাৎ, If দ্বারা শুরু হওয়া clause-এ past indefinite বা were থাকলে, পরবর্তী clause-এ subject-এর পরে would/could/might এবং verb-এর base form ব্যবহার করতে হয়।

উদাহরণসমূহ:

• If I knew the answer, I would tell you.

• If I were you, I would handle the situation more carefully.

• If I were you, I would take the money.

• If I were a bird, I would fly to you.

• If I won a lot of money, I’d buy a big house in the country.

• If we had a garden, we could have a cat.
