Arundhuty Roy ২৪ নভেম্বর ১৯৬১ সালে ভারতের মেঘালয়ে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তাঁর বিখ্যাত রচনাসমূহ হল- The God of Small Things, Field Notes on Democracy, এবং The Ministry of Utmost Happiness। তিনি তাঁর বিখ্যাত গ্রন্থ 'The God of Small Things'-এর জন্য ১৯৯৭ সালে 'Man Booker' পুরস্কার লাভ করেন।
