🔹 To-Infinitive ব্যবহারের নিয়ম:

👉 কিছু কিছু verb আছে যেগুলোর পরে যদি কোনো object ব্যবহৃত হয়, তাহলে এরপরে to-infinitive (to + verb) ব্যবহার করতে হয়।

এই ধরনের verb হলো:

• advise

• remind

• allow

• permit

• recommend

• encourage

• forbid ইত্যাদি।

উদাহরণ:

• She advised me to give up smoking.

• Rahim reminded me to take medicine.

• The manager allowed us to leave work early.

• He forbade his students to use their phones.

• The park permits visitors to bring food.

• She encouraged her friend to pursue her dreams.

🔹 কিন্তু যদি উপরের verb-গুলোর পর object না থাকে, অর্থাৎ verb-এর পরে সরাসরি আরেকটি verb আসে, তাহলে সেই ক্ষেত্রে gerund (verb + ing) ব্যবহৃত হয়।

উদাহরণ:

• They allow fishing here.

• I would advise taking out some insurance.
