• John Dryden হচ্ছেন The restoration Period/The Neoclassical period এর একজন English poet, dramatist, and literary critic, যিনি তাঁর সময়ের সাহিত্যিক প্রেক্ষাপটে এতটাই আধিপত্য বিস্তার করেছিলেন যে, তাঁর যুগটিকে 'The Age of Dryden' হিসাবেও ধরা হয়।

• Alexander Pope is the most famous poet of The Augustan Age/ The Neoclassical period.
- এই যুগের অন্যতম সাহিত্যিক ছিলেন Alexander Pope যিনি এই যুগে তাঁর লেখনীর দ্বারা আধিপত্য বিস্তার করেছিলেন।
- তিনি একজন Mock Heroic Poet হিসাবেও পরিচিত।

• T. S. Eliot কে Modern Period বা বিংশ শতাব্দীর অন্যতম শ্রেষ্ঠ সাহিত্যিক বিবেচেনা করা হয়। 
- তিনি একাধারে  American-English poet, playwright, literary critic এবং editor.
- তিনি ১৯৪৮ সালে সাহিত্যে Nobel Prize পান।
