• মূল বাক্যে clause-এর অবস্থান অদল-বদল করা হয়েছে, অর্থাৎ "would have happened" আগে এসেছে এবং "if the bridge had been broken" পরে বসেছে।

• যেহেতু bridge নিজে নিজে কাজ করে না, এটি একটি passive construction।
