Elizabethan Period (১৫৫৮–১৬০৩) ইংরেজি সাহিত্যের ইতিহাসে এক মহিমান্বিত যুগ, যাকে বলা হয় “The Golden Period of English Literature” বা “সোনালী যুগ”। এই যুগটি Queen Elizabeth I-এর নামে নামকরণ করা হয়েছে। তাঁর শাসনামলে ইংল্যান্ডে শিল্প, সাহিত্য, সংগীত ও নাট্যকলার অভূতপূর্ব বিকাশ ঘটেছিল।
• Elizabethan Period (1558–1603):

এই যুগের নামকরণ হয়েছে Queen Elizabeth I-এর নামে।

এটি ইংরেজি সাহিত্যের স্বর্ণযুগ, কারণ এই সময়েই সাহিত্য বিশেষত drama ও poetry-র ক্ষেত্র সবচেয়ে বেশি উন্নতি লাভ করে।

The Modern Period:
