Conjunctional Phrase:

• যে phrase conjunction-এর কাজ করে, অর্থাৎ দুইটি idea, clause বা sentence-এর মধ্যে সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করে, তাকে Conjunctional Phrase বলা হয়।

• এখানে as though একটি conjunctional phrase, যা main clause (He acts) এবং subordinate clause (nothing happened)-কে সংযুক্ত করছে।

উদাহরণ:

1. She enjoys reading as well as writing.

2. Even though it was raining, they went for a walk.

3. In addition to studying, he works part-time.

বৈশিষ্ট্য:

• Conjunctional phrases ideas, clauses, বা sentences-কে সংযুক্ত করে।

• সম্পর্কের ধরন যেমন cause, condition, comparison, addition ইত্যাদি প্রকাশ করতে পারে।

• কিছু সাধারণ Conjunctional Phrases: as much as, as long as, as well as, along with, together with, either-or, neither-nor, not only…but also ইত্যাদি।
