Tag question ব্যবহারের নিয়মগুলো হলো:

• Tag question ব্যবহৃত হয় কোনো উক্তি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত করার জন্য।

• যদি মূল statement positive হয়, তাহলে tag question হবে negative।

• Subject এবং tense অনুযায়ী auxiliary verb দিয়ে tag question তৈরি হয়।

Confusing Contraction ('d) ক্ষেত্রে নিয়ম:

• যদি 'd এর পরে verb base form আসে, তাহলে এটিকে modal auxiliary “would” হিসেবে ধরা হয়।
