যদি as if / as though এর আগে Past Indefinite Tense থাকে, তাহলে এর পরে Past Perfect Tense ব্যবহার হয়।
উদাহরণ: She cried as if she had lost her only friend.
যদি আগে Present Indefinite Tense থাকে, তাহলে এর পরে Past Indefinite Tense হয়। Be verb হলে সবসময় were হয়।
উদাহরণ: He talks as if he were a leader.
ভুল উদাহরণ:
খ) She cried as if she lost her only friend → simple past, unreal past context-এ ভুল।
