Correct Sentence: He asked for some advice about his career।

• কারণ advice হচ্ছে uncountable noun, তাই এর plural form হয় না। এটি singular verb বা singular context নেয়।

Advice (Noun)

• English Meaning: An opinion or a suggestion about what somebody should do in a particular situation.

• Bangla Meaning: উপদেশ; পরামর্শ।

Usage Notes:

• Advice একটি uncountable noun।

• এর আগে article (a/an) ব্যবহার করা যায় না এবং plural form নেই।

• নির্দিষ্ট বোঝাতে the ব্যবহার করা হয়।

• Plural করতে হলে a piece of advice (singular) কে two pieces of advice (plural) লিখতে হয়।

Complex Sentence কে Compound Sentence-এ রূপান্তর

যদি একটি complex sentence “Though/Although” দিয়ে শুরু হয়, এবং এতে দুটি বিপরীত অর্থের ভাব প্রকাশ পায়, তাহলে আমরা এটিকে compound sentence-এ রূপান্তর করতে but বা yet ব্যবহার করি।

• অর্থাৎ:

  Complex sentence: Though + [বিপরীত ভাবের clause 1], [main clause 2]
  Compound sentence: [Clause 1] + but/yet + [Clause 2]

1. Complex: Though he is poor, he is honest.
   Compound: He is poor but honest.

2. Complex: Though he was a rich man, he led a simple life.
   Compound: He was a rich man yet he led a simple life.
