মূল নিয়ম

Modal verbs (must, can, may, should, will, shall, might, could ইত্যাদি) এর পরে verb-এর base form (bare infinitive) ব্যবহার হয়।

উদাহরণ: I must go. You should study.

এই বাক্যে তাই “see” base form-এ σωহ।

অন্য বিকল্পগুলোর ব্যাখ্যা

ক) seen

ভুল: modal এর পরে past participle বা any form of past participle নয়।

খ) saw

ভুল: modal এর পরে past tense নয়; base form লাগবে।

গ) seeing

ভুল: gerund/ present participle; modal-এর পরে না।

• Active sentence-এর subject কে passive sentence-এ object হিসেবে বসাতে হবে।

Structure:
Let + object (as subject) + be + main verb (past participle) + by + subject (as object)

উদাহরণ:
Active: Let them plant the trees.
Passive: Let the trees be planted by them.

ভুল বিকল্পগুলো এবং কারণ:

• Let the trees to be planted by them

  • এখানে to be ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে, যা ভুল।

  • “Let” যুক্ত passive voice-এ be + past participle ব্যবহার হয়, to বসানো যায় না।

• Let the trees being planted by them

  • এখানে being planted ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে, যা continuous passive বোঝায়।

  • কিন্তু “Let” যুক্ত imperative sentence-এ সাধারণত be + V3 ব্যবহৃত হয়, being নয়।

• Let the trees has been planted by them

  • এখানে has been planted present perfect passive বোঝায়।

  • কিন্তু imperative sentence-এ “Let” এর সঙ্গে present perfect passive বসে না।

• ভুল অপশনগুলো:

  • (খ) Neither the chairman nor the members are present yesterday.

    • ভুল কারণ yesterday নির্দেশ করছে Past Tense, তাই are নয়, were হবে।

  • (গ) Not the chairman definitely nor the members are present.

    • ভুল কারণ "Nor" ব্যবহার করলে বাক্যের শুরুতে অবশ্যই Neither বসতে হবে।

  • (ঘ) Neither the chairman or the members are present.

    • ভুল কারণ Neither এর সাথে or নয়, nor ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
