১. ভেড়া (Sheep)

• Feminine: Ewe

  • English: Female sheep (especially mature)

  • Bangla: ভেড়ি

• Masculine: Ram

  • English: Male sheep

  • Bangla: পুরুষ মেষ; ভেড়া

২. হরিণ (Deer)

• Masculine: Hart

  • English: Male deer

  • Bangla: পুরুষ হরিণ

• Feminine: Roe

  • English: Female deer

  • Bangla: স্ত্রী হরিণ

৩. ঘোড়া (Horse)

• Masculine: Colt

  • English: Young male horse

  • Bangla: পুংঘোটক / শিশুহরিণ

• Feminine: Filly

  • English: Young female horse

  • Bangla: কন্যা ঘোড়া

৪. শূকর (Swine / Pig)

• Masculine: Boar

  • English: Uncastrated male swine

Paragraph Structure

• Note: Heading is not a part of a paragraph; it belongs to a letter.

• A paragraph can be divided into three main parts:

1. Beginning (Topic Sentence):

   • The first sentence of the paragraph.

   • Should be engaging and introduce the main idea.

2. Body:

   • Includes all sentences between the first and the last.

   • Develops and supports the main idea of the paragraph.

3. End (Terminator):

   • The final sentence that completes the paragraph’s thought.

   • Provides a sense of closure and emphasizes the main idea.

Causative Verb Rule (using “Make”):

1. Definition: A Causative Verb is used when the subject does not do the action itself but causes someone else to do it. Common causative verbs include Have, Get, Help, Let, Make.

2. Using “Make”:

   • After Make, the person or object comes next, followed by the base form of the verb.

   • “Make” implies compelling someone to do something, stronger than “Have” or “Get”.

Example:

• Correct Sentence: The news made me cry.

  • Here, “me” is the object and “cry” is the base form of the verb.

  • The news caused me to cry; I did not choose to do it independently.
