Active Voice থেকে Passive Voice এ ‘Who’ যুক্ত প্রশ্ন করার নিয়ম:

উদাহরণ:
Active: Who will do the work?
Passive: By whom will the work be done?

নিয়ম:

• Passive Voice এ প্রশ্ন করার সময় “By whom” দিয়ে শুরু করতে হবে।

• তারপর আসবে Auxiliary verb (যেমন: is, are, has, have, will ইত্যাদি) — এটি মূল বাক্যের টেন্স অনুযায়ী।

• তার পর subject এবং verb এর past participle (third form)।

• যদি Auxiliary verb দুইটা হয়, তবে একটি subject এর আগে এবং অপরটি পরে বসবে।

আরেকটি উদাহরণ:
Active: Who has broken the glass?
Passive: By whom has the glass been broken?

• English Meaning: a favorable opportunity or circumstance

ব্যাখ্যা:

• Insist on / insist upon / insist on doing something মানে হলো—কোনো কিছু করতে জোর দেওয়া, এমনকি সেটা অন্যদের বিরক্ত করতে পারে বা তারা মনে করতে পারে এটা ভালো নয়।

• বাংলায় বলা যায়, কোনো বিষয়ে জোর দেওয়া বা অনড় থাকা।

• Insist on / upon এর পর verb-এর -ing ফর্ম ব্যবহার হয়।

উদাহরণ:

• He insisted on my going there. → সে জোর দিয়েছেন যে আমি সেখানে যাই।

• She insists on doing everything her own way. → সে সবকিছু নিজের মতো করার জোর দেন।

• Despite the alternative suggestions, she insisted on following the original plan. → বিকল্প পরামর্শ থাকা সত্ত্বেও, সে মূল পরিকল্পনা অনুসরণের জন্য জোর দিয়েছেন।
