Correct Spelling: Unnecessary (Adjective)

English Meaning: not needed; more than is needed.
Bangla Meaning: অপ্রয়োজনীয়; অনাবশ্যক; বাহুল্য; অহেতুক।

Example Sentence: He made an unnecessary comment during the meeting.
Bangla Meaning: সে সভার সময়ে অপ্রয়োজনীয় মন্তব্য করেছিল।

• Bangla: তার জন্য নির্দেশাবলী সাবধানে অনুসরণ করা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

• Present Subjunctive:

• চাওয়া বা ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করতে subordinate clause-এ verb-এর base form ব্যবহার করা হয়।

• Formal English-এ, "It is important that...", "advised", "necessary", "recommended", "urgent", "obligatory", "required", "imperative", "mandatory", "proposed", "suggested" ইত্যাদি adjectives-এর পরে subjunctive mood ব্যবহার করা হয়।

• Structure: It + be (any tense) + adjective + that + subject + simple verb (base form)

• Negative ক্ষেত্রে verb-এর base form-এর আগে শুধু not বসবে; verb-এর সাথে কোনো -s/-es/-ed/-ing/-d/-t যুক্ত হবে না।

• Be-verb থাকলে শুধু be বসবে।

• American English-এ should ব্যবহার হয় না; British English-এ should + base form ব্যবহার হতে পারে।

  • এটি বাক্যের ক্রিয়া ran কে বর্ণনা করছে।

Adverbial Phrase কী?

• যে phrase বাক্যে adverb এর মতো কাজ করে তাকে Adverbial Phrase বলা হয়।

• সাধারণত এই phrase টি বোঝায়:

  • কখন? (when)

  • কোথায়? (where)

  • কেন? (why)

  • কিভাবে? (how)

• যেমন:

  • She sang in the morning. → in the morning → when?

  • He lives near the river. → near the river → where?
