ব্যবহার: এগুলো হলো quantifier determiners, যা কিছু পরিমাণ বা সংখ্যাকে বোঝায়।

নোট:

• Little ও Few → negative sense (অল্প বা নেই বললেই চলে)

• A little ও A few → positive sense (কিছু কিছু বা সামান্য পরিমাণ)

• Countable noun-এর আগে Few / A few এবং uncountable noun-এর আগে Little / A little বসে।

1. She has few sugar in her tea. ❌

   • Sugar = uncountable noun, কিন্তু few ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে → ভুল

2. There is a little orange left. ❌

   • Orange = countable noun, কিন্তু a little ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে → ভুল

3. He drank a few water after the run. ❌

   • Water = uncountable noun, কিন্তু a few ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে → ভুল

4. I have a few friends to help me. ✅

   • Friends = countable noun, a few ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে → সঠিক

Correct Sentence: She shared some useful advice with me.

• Advice (Noun)

• English Meaning: An opinion or a suggestion about what somebody should do in a particular situation

• Bangla Meaning: উপদেশ; পরামর্শ

• ব্যবহারবিধি:

  • Advice হলো uncountable noun, তাই এর আগে article (a, an) বসে না এবং plural form হয় না।

  • Plural করতে চাইলে singular হিসেবে লেখা হয় a piece of advice, আর plural হবে two pieces of advice।

• ভুল অপশন বিশ্লেষণ:
  ক) She shared many useful advice with me → ভুল। "Many" uncountable noun advice এর সাথে ব্যবহার করা যায় না।
  গ) She shared some useful adviceses with me → ভুল। "Adviceses" ভুল, কারণ advice plural হয় না।
  ঘ) She shared useful piece of advices with me → ভুল। "Piece of" singular হিসেবে ব্যবহার হলে a piece of advice হতে হবে, এখানে "advices" plural ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে।

Rule for Inversion with Certain Adverbs:

• Adverbs/adverbial phrases like Only then, hardly, scarcely, seldom when placed at the beginning of a sentence to emphasize the verb, trigger subject-auxiliary inversion.

• Structure: Adverbial phrase + auxiliary verb + subject + main verb (base form)

Example:

• Correct: Only then did I realize the truth.

  • Only then → emphasis

  • did → auxiliary verb for past tense

  • I → subject

  • realize → base form of main verb

Why the other options are incorrect:

• খ) Only than I realize the truth. → “than” is incorrect; it should be then.

• গ) Only then I did realize the truth. → Incorrect word order; inversion required: did I realize.

• ঘ) Only than did I realize the truth. → “than” is wrong; correct word is then.
