- Bangla Meaning: আমি কথাটা বলতেই না বলতেই ও আমাকে থামিয়ে দিল।

- কোনো বাক্যে hardly had থাকলে, hardly had যুক্ত অংশটি past perfect tense এ হয় ও verb এর past participle form হয় এবং hardly had এর পরবর্তী clause টি শুরু করতে হয় when দিয়ে এবং বাকি অংশ টুকু past indefinite tense এ হয়।
- Structure: Hardly had + sub + verb এর past participle form + When + past indefinite tense.
- যেহেতু প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নের প্রথম Clause টি hardly had যুক্ত এবং past perfect tense-এ আছে তাই এর পরবর্তী clause অবশ্যই শুরু করতে হবে when দিয়ে এবং tense হবে past indefinite.
- তাই, এখানে, Hardly এর পরে শূন্যস্থানে - had I spoken হয়েছে।

সহজে মনে রাখার সুবিধার্থে,
- কোনো কিছু হওয়া/ করা মাত্রই অন্য কিছু হয়েছিল/ করেছিল বোঝাতে অথবা হতে না...হতেই / করতে না No sooner had......than এভাবে আসে। করতেই বোঝাতে বাক্যে সবসময় Hardly had.......when, scarcely had...when,
- আর When ও than এর পূর্বে Past perfect Tense এবং When ও than এর পরে Past Indefinite Tense ব্যবহৃত হয়।
