Who যুক্ত Interrogative Sentence-এর Active Voice কে Passive Voice-এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:

Who এর পরিবর্তে By whom দিয়ে বাক্য শুরু হবে।

Tense ও Person অনুযায়ী Auxiliary Verb বসানো হবে।

Active Voice-এর Object কে Passive Voice-এর Subject হিসেবে বসানো হবে।

অনেক সময় be / being / been যোগ করা হতে পারে।

মূল Verb-এর Past Participle ব্যবহার করা হবে।

বাক্যের শেষে Question Mark (?) থাকবে।

Active voice থেকে Passive voice-এ রূপান্তর করার নিয়মগুলো হলো:

Active voice-এর subject passive voice-এ object হয়ে যায়।

Active voice-এর object passive voice-এ subject হয়ে যায়।

মূল verb passive voice-এ past participle রূপে ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং subject ও tense অনুযায়ী auxiliary verb / be verb বসে।
সাধারণভাবে, passive voice-এ object-এর আগে by বসে। তবে কিছু ক্ষেত্রে অন্যান্য preposition ব্যবহার হতে পারে। কিছু verb-এর পরে passive-এ in ব্যবহার হয়, যেমন embody, contain, include ইত্যাদি।

Present indefinite tense passive voice-এ রূপান্তর করতে am / is / are + main verb (past participle) ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Other options:

খ) What he thinks was known by me. → Past Simple Passive; মূল বাক্যের Present Tense-এর সঙ্গে মিল নেই।

গ) What he thinks is being known to me. → Present Continuous Passive; know সাধারণত continuous কাজ বোঝায় না।

ঘ) What he thinks has been known by me. → Present Perfect Passive; অর্থ “আমি ইতিমধ্যেই জানি”, মূল Present Tense-এর সঙ্গে মিল নেই।

Passive voice of complex sentence করার সময় বিশেষ নিয়ম মেনে চলতে হয়। Complex sentence-এ একটি clause প্রায়শই subject বা object-এর ভূমিকা পালন করে। তাই—

যদি active voice-এর object একটি clause হয়, তবে passive voice-এ সেই clause-টিই subject হবে।

আবার active voice-এর subject যদি একটি clause হয়, তবে passive voice-এ সেটি object হবে।
