গালিভারের উচ্চতা ছিল প্রায় ছয় ফুট, আর লিলিপুটবাসীরা মাত্র ছয় ইঞ্চি লম্বা। তাই তুলনায় গালিভার ছিল প্রায় ১২ গুণ লম্বা। এজন্য সে তাদের কাছে ভয়ংকর দৈত্যের মতো দেখাত। আকারের এই পার্থক্যই কাহিনির হাস্যরস ও ব্যঙ্গকে বাড়িয়ে তুলেছে।

On his fourth voyage, Gulliver serves as the captain of his own ship, the Adventure. Misfortune strikes when several of his original sailors fall ill and die, forcing him to hire replacements. However, these new sailors are pirates who corrupt the remaining crew and eventually conspire against him. A mutiny takes place, during which Gulliver is seized and kept prisoner on his own ship. Later, the rebels abandon him on the shore of an unknown land. This land, as Gulliver soon discovers, is the country of the Houyhnhnms, where he experiences his final and most transformative adventure.

লাগনাগ থেকে গালিভার জাপানে যাওয়ার অনুমতি পায়। রাজা তাকে নিরাপদে জাপানে পৌঁছে দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা করেন। পরে জাপান থেকেই গালিভার ইংল্যান্ডে ফেরার সুযোগ খুঁজে নেয়। এই সফরে তার ভ্রমণ পর্বটি নতুনভাবে সম্পূর্ণ হয়।
