Active Voice এবং Passive Voice এর পার্থক্য বোঝার জন্য নিচের ব্যাখ্যাটি দেওয়া হলো। Active Voice-এ Subject কাজটি করে, আর Passive Voice-এ কাজটি Subject-এর ওপর করা হয়। Active থেকে Passive এ রূপান্তর করার কিছু নিয়ম আছে:

• Active Voice-এর Subject Passive Voice-এ Object হয়।

• Active Voice-এর Object Passive Voice-এ Subject হয়।

• মূল Verb-এর সাথে be verb ব্যবহার করা হয় এবং Verb-এর Past Participle আকার বসানো হয়।

• Object-এর আগে by বসানো হয়।

উদাহরণ হিসেবে, Active Voice-এ "Nobody trusts a traitor." বাক্যটির Passive Voice হবে:

• A traitor is not trusted by anybody.

• এখানে Nobody = not anybody।

• একইভাবে, No one / None = not anyone।
