Causative Verb

সংজ্ঞা:

যখন subject নিজে কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কাজ করায়, তখন Causative Verb ব্যবহার করা হয়।

সাধারণ Causative Verbs:

• Have, Get, Help, Let, Make ইত্যাদি।

Make ব্যবহার

• Make + ব্যক্তি/বস্তু + verb-এর base form

• অর্থ: কাউকে কোনো কাজ করতে বাধ্য করা, Have বা Get-এর চেয়ে বেশি জোর/নির্দেশ প্রদান।

1. The manager made the employees work late last night. ✅

2. She makes her kids brush their teeth before bed.

3. My boss makes me stay late at work sometimes.

Incorrect Sentence: She has a little friends in the new city।

Explanation:

• "Friends" একটি countable noun, তাই এর আগে determiner হিসেবে a little নয়, few ব্যবহার করা উচিত।

• সুতরাং, বাক্যটিতে determiner-এর ভুল ব্যবহার হয়েছে।
