Pronoun-এর ৮টি প্রকার:

2. Demonstrative pronoun: this, that, these, those

3. Interrogative pronoun: what, who, which, whom

4. Relative pronoun: who, whom, whose, which, that

5. Indefinite pronoun: one, none, some, any, all, many, few, several

6. Distributive pronoun: each, every, either, neither

7. Reflexive pronoun: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, themselves

• English meaning: to laugh at or show no respect for someone or something, because you think they are stupid or of no value.

• Bangla meaning: উপহাস/ঠাট্টা/তামাসা/অবজ্ঞা করা; অবজ্ঞাভরে উড়িয়ে দেওয়া।

Options:
ক) Praise: প্রশংসা/গুণকীর্তন/তারিফ/সুখ্যাতি করা।
খ) Mock: কাউকে নিয়ে তামাশা করা; ভেংচানো; ব্যঙ্গ পরিহাস করা; উপহাস করা।
গ) Encourage: উৎসাহিত করা; সাহস দেওয়া; আশ্বস্ত করা।
ঘ) Respect: সম্মান; উচ্চ ধারণা অথবা শ্রদ্ধা।

Transitive Verb:

• কিছু transitive verb এর object এর পাশাপাশি complement থাকতে পারে, যাকে Objective Complement বলে।

Intransitive Verb:

• যেসব verb এর object নেই তাদের বলা হয় Intransitive Verb।

• সাধারণত এর পর adverb বা preposition থাকে।

• Structure: subject + verb

• উদাহরণ: The sun rises in the east.

  • এখানে rises এর পরে adverb আছে, কোন object নেই → Intransitive Verb।

Non-finite Verb:

• Non-finite verb tense দেখায় না।

• প্রধানত: infinitives, participles, gerunds।

• উদাহরণ: Running out of time, she couldn't finish her tasks.

  • এখানে non-finite verb হলো Running।

Cognate Verb:

• যেসব intransitive verb তাদের মূল root থেকে object গ্রহণ করে, তাদের বলা হয় Cognate Verb।

• Object কে বলা হয় Cognate Object।

• উদাহরণ:

  • Jamal ran a race → ran = cognate verb, race = cognate object

  • Kamal sang a song → sang = cognate verb, song = cognate object

  • He died a peaceful death → died = cognate verb, death = cognate object
