সাধারণভাবে, passive voice-এ object-এর আগে by বসে। তবে কিছু ক্ষেত্রে অন্যান্য preposition ব্যবহার হতে পারে। কিছু verb-এর পরে passive-এ in ব্যবহার হয়, যেমন embody, contain, include ইত্যাদি।
