Determiner হলো এমন একটি শব্দ যা Noun বা Pronoun এর নির্দিষ্টতা বা অনির্দিষ্টতা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। Determiner প্রধানত Noun/Pronoun কে determine করে, যদিও এটি Noun কে আংশিক বা পরিপূর্ণভাবে modify করলেও modify করা তার মূল কাজ নয়।

• Articles: a, an, the

• Demonstratives: this, that, these, those

• Possessives: my, your, his, her, its, our, their, Jahangir's

• Quantifiers: some, any, much, many, a lot of, a little, little, a few, few, enough, several, plenty of, all, both, no, each, every, either, neither, more, less, most, lots of, etc.

• Numbers: one, two, three, four, five, six (etc.)

• General Ordinals: last, next, other, the other, etc.

• Interrogative Determiners: which, what, whose
