• English Meaning: To speak in a way that is intentionally not clear and confusing to other people, especially to hide the truth.

• Bangla Meaning: দ্ব্যর্থবাক্য ব্যবহার করা; বাক্চাতুরী করা।

• Synonyms: Prevaricate (অসত্য বা আংশিক অসত্য বলা), Vacillate (দ্বিধা করা), Temporize (গড়িমসি করা), Fudge (অর্থহীন অজুহাত দেওয়া), Hedge (এড়ানো), Quibble (কথার মারপ্যাঁচ করা)।

• Antonyms: Confront (মুখোমুখি হওয়া), Tell the truth (সত্য বলা), Be frank (স্পষ্টবাদী হওয়া), Speak your mind (আসল কথা বলা), Be blunt (সরাসরি বলা)।

• Little এবং A little ব্যবহৃত হয় Uncountable nouns এর সাথে।

• Few এবং A few ব্যবহৃত হয় Countable nouns এর সাথে।

• Little ও Few হলো negative quantifier determiners, অর্থাৎ খুব অল্প বা প্রায় নেই।

ব্যবহারের অর্থ অনুযায়ী:

• অল্প কয়েকটি অর্থে Countable noun এর আগে A few ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• অল্প একটু বা সামান্য অর্থে Uncountable noun এর আগে A little ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• A few বা A little উভয়ের অর্থ হলো Some (অল্প কয়েকটি বা অল্প পরিমাণ)।
