Adverb
- যেসব word noun বা pronoun ছাড়া অন্য যেকোন parts of speech, বিশেষ করে verb কে modify করে সেগুলোকে adverb বলে।
- Adverb এমন একটি part of speech যা একটি verb, adjective, অন্য আর একটি adverb অথবা পুরো একটি বাক্যকে মডিফাই করতে পারে।
• এখানে home একটি adverb যা verb ‘go’ কে modify করেছে।
- Home শব্দটি এখানে adverb of place.
- where, why, how, when ইত্যাদি শব্দগুলো দিয়ে Verb-কে প্রশ্ন করে পাওয়া উত্তরই হল adverb.
Home শব্দটির মাধ্যমে আমরা Where-এর উত্তর পাচ্ছি এবং জানতে পারছি কোথায় যাওয়ার (go) কথা বলা হচ্ছে।
