-  এটি 5 acts বিশিষ্ট একটি কমেডি।
- 1590-94 সালে কোনো এক সময়ে লেখা এবং 1623 সালে 'First Folio' তে প্রথম মুদ্রিত হয়েছিল।
- এই Comedy টি Shrewish Katharina এবং the Canny Petruchio এর মধ্যকার volatile courtship এর বর্ণনা দেয় যে কিনা determined to subdue Katharina’s legendary temper and win her dowry.
