Article এর ব্যবহার:
Article ব্যবহারের ক্ষেত্রে সাধারণত শব্দের উচ্চারণ (pronunciation)-এর ওপর নির্ভর করতে হয়।
যদি কোনো শব্দের শুরুতে consonant letter থাকে, তবে তার আগে সাধারণত a ব্যবহৃত হয়।
তবে, কোনো consonant letter-এর উচ্চারণ vowel sound-এর মতো হলে সেখানে a নয়, বরং an ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন: an MA।
আবার, কোনো শব্দ h দিয়ে শুরু হলে এবং সেটির উচ্চারণ h-এর মতো শোনা গেলে তার আগে a বসে। কিন্তু যদি h উচ্চারিত না হয় বা অন্য কোনো vowel sound শোনা যায়, তবে তার আগে an বসে।
