• মূল বাক্য: In spite of his wealth, he is unhappy.

• “In spite of his wealth” → prepositional phrase

• Complex sentence-এ সাধারণত dependent (subordinate) clause থাকে

• সঠিক complex sentence রূপ: Though he is wealthy, he is unhappy.

  • “Though he is wealthy” → subordinate clause

  • “he is unhappy” → main clause

বিকল্পগুলো:

• (খ) He is wealthy and unhappy → simple sentence, কোনো subordinate clause নেই

  • তার জায়গায় in order that / so that + NP + can/may বসাতে হবে।
